"I went to a few free yoga classes in the gym, but I never felt like it was completely for me. Sometimes the transition between the poses were too fast for me to catch up as I did not have much previous knowledge about yoga. I just felt awkward in those classes.
Haiying told me that was a norm for a big public class like that, which was why she always prefer to teach a small group instead so that she could give enough attention to every student.
I was very shocked to find out that the class could be as different and accommodating as Haiying's. Everything was just perfect. From the setting on the sundeck during sunset, to the music, to the quality instead of quantity of the poses, to the props.
We also had after-class discussion and she broke lots of the misunderstanding I had towards yoga / meditation. I will absolutely practice with her again if she is around."
